The Buteyko Institute of Breathing and Health (BIBH) has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a registered charity since 2002.
The BIBH became an Income Tax Exempt Charitable Entity on 13 May 2002, and a Deductible Gift Recipient on 12 August 2002. It was then registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) in March 2013.
Donations from grateful past clients of Buteyko Breathing courses have assisted the BIBH with projects including introducing Buteyko Breathing to a group of schools in the UK, obtaining ISO Certification in May 2014, providing free video content for people to view on the internet, and conducting international ButeykoBreathing conferences.
